An ab workout routine, in
order to most effectively and consistently establish the benefits which have
been observed of abdominal exercises, is recommended by experts to include
various kinds of exercises, as can most effectively target the different bodily
areas and muscles as are included under the overall heading of workouts for
abs. To this end, people may wish to be aware of the different muscles to be
addressed, and hopefully strengthened, through the performance of an ab workout
routine. In this regard, workouts for abs should be designed to include the
various areas of the rectus abdominis, the external oblique abdominal muscles,

recommended that an ab workout routine incorporate between 5 and 10 different
exercises, as should also be selected to allow for different kinds of motion.
In this regard, an ab workout routine can include lateral and spinal flexion as
well as rotation actions. In each of the different components of the ab workout
routine, the exercising individual should carry out the motion about ten times.
Moreover, experts have also recommended changing one’s established ab workout
routine after the period of a few weeks.
